Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley, and his wife, are in Jamaica for an official four-day visit.

They were met at the Norman Manley International Airport yesterday by a welcoming party led by Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, and Foreign Affairs Minister, Kamina Johnson Smith.

Speaking with journalists, Mr. Holness said the visit aims to strengthen the countries’ bilateral relations, noting the strong cultural, commercial, financial and trade links they share.

The visit follows ongoing discussions between both Governments towards the resolution of long standing bilateral and regional issues.

Prime Minister Holness, says he hopes for fruitful bilateral talks.
