The Principal at Homestead Primary school in St. Catherine was reportedly injured yesterday by a student at her institution.

President of the Jamaica Teacher’s Association, Owen Speid made the disclosure about the incident this morning during At Your Service with Vernon Derby.

It’s understood the Principal was injured while trying to settle a conflict between two students.

Nationwide has been informed that the primary school principal has already secured the services of an attorney on the matter.

The JTA President is raising concerns regarding the number of incidents in recent times which has resulted in members of staff being injured.
