The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM, says it has conducted the planned interview of the female District Constable who the police say has been cleared of involvement in the disappearance of Donna-Lee Donaldson.

The interview with District Constable Kathy Ann Smith was done yesterday in the presence of her attorney.

Oswest Senior Smith says his client was cooperative during the interview.

Oswest Senior Smith, attorney.

INDECOM did not give any details on the outcome of the session.

The police oversight Commission says a copy of the transcript and the recorded interview will be provided to the Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF.

The oversight body says pursuant to Section 21 of the INDECOM Act, a witness interview Notice was served on Ms. Smith to attend the office of the Commission to be interviewed in relation to the ongoing investigation.

An interview session with Ms. Donaldson’s boyfriend, Constable Noel Maitland, was cancelled after he was charged for her murder on Tuesday.
