Head of the JCF’s Corporate Communications Unit, CCU, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says the implementation of enhanced security measures in the St Catherine Division is currently being assessed by the Police.

This follows a shooting which took place yesterday in the busy market district of Spanish Town.

Three people, including two high-ranking members of the One Order Gang, were killed.

SSP Lindsay says joint police and military presence will remain in the area until tomorrow.

She noted that the Police are currently pursuing some suspects in the incident.

SSP Lindsay says the likelihood of a reprisal shooting are very high for the killings.

Meanwhile, SSP Lindsay says a recent killing of three young people in the St Catherine Divisions most likely triggered the gang conflict.
