Members of the the JLP’s constituency organization in North East St. Catherine are this morning criticizing their MP, Gregory Mair, saying he’s provided ‘poor representation’ and is mostly absent from the constituency.

This comes amid a row between Mr. Mair and Sharon Hay-Webster, an Aide to Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness.

Mr. Mair has accused Mrs. Hay Webster of campaigning in his constituency, in a move to unseat him as the JLP’s candidate for the next General Election.

But Mrs. Hay Webster has denied the claim.

However, she says she has applied to represent the party in the constituency at the next election.

The JLP’s Councillor Caretaker for the Troja Division in the constituency, William Cital, says constituents are displeased at Mr. Mair’s absence.
