The Member of Parliament for West Portland, the JLP’s Daryl Vaz is urging his party to re-examine itself.
Mr Vaz says this is necessary to give the JLP a fighting chance in the next elections.
Mr Vaz says the JLP needs to change because what it’s doing isn’t working.
He was speaking at the annual JLP conference in his constituency yesterday.
He told his constituents that he would focus his energies on the development of the parish and the work of the Labour Party now that his legal woes are over.
Mr. Vaz was freed of corruption charges last month.
