Secretary General of the Jamaica Olympic Association, JOA, Ryan Foster, has been appointed to the technical commission of Centro Caribe Sports, the recently rebranded Central American and Caribbean Sports Organization which own the oldest multi-sport global championships, the CAC games.
Foster will take his seat among the regional experts from English, Spanish and French countries that form the membership of the sports organization and will along with colleague commission members, script the technical agenda for over 35 sports of the games.
The technical commission provides oversight management of technical matters to ensure that the rules and technical protocols of the games promote fairness and integrity in inspiring confidence in athletes, officials and other stakeholders.
Foster says at the last CAC games in Colombia in 2018 Jamaica entered it’s largest team, garnered it’s highest medal count and participated in most disciplines.
