England captain Harry Kane equalled a 53-year-old goalscoring record to steer Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-0 win over Fulham in their Premier League game at Craven Cottage today.

Kane scored on the stroke of half time, his 266th goal for the club, level with the legendary Jimmy Greaves as Tottenham’s all time leading scorers.

With the victory Spurs moved three points of a championships league spot on 36 points into fifth behind Manchester United.

Arsenal are leaders of the competition with 50 points.
