A poll conducted by well known pollster, Bill Johnson for Mello TV has found that the vast majority of Jamaicans think Dr. Peter Phillips should resign as PNP President.

Mr. Johnson says the findings are dismal for Dr. Phillips.

Mr. Johnson says a majority of people who voted for the PNP during the 2016 General Election also want Dr. Phillips to step down as PNP President.

The pollster says the numbers show that Dr. Phillips has become a liability to the PNP at an important time in the electoral cycle.

Mr. Johnson has revealed that his poll disclosed that Central Manchester MP, Peter Bunting has a higher favourability rating when compared to Dr. Phillips.

However both Bunting and Dr. Phillips trail Prime Minister Andrew Holness who has a favourability rating of 76-percent and an approval rating of 81-percent.
