CEO of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, PSOJ, Makeba Bennett- Easy has resigned.
Her resignation takes effect on March 25, 2020.
President of the PSOJ, Keith Duncan, says Bennett-Easy brought exceptional leadership and development to the PSOJ at a critical juncture.
He notes her invaluable contribution to the organizational transformation of the organization and shaping the entity for the future.
Mr. Duncan also says while her personal expertise will be missed, they’re supportive of her decision to pursue other professional opportunities.
Meanwhile, the outgoing CEO says it was no easy decision to resign despite being excited for the next phase of her professional journey.
Mrs Bennett- Easy says she’ll remain supportive and involved in ongoing work through the organization’s Human Capital Development, Corporate Governance, Gender and Disabilities Affairs Committees.
She says she’ll remain onboard to see to a seamless hand over to her successor.
Highlights of her leadership at the PSOJ, include the organization’s cultural transformation, growing the membership base, and strengthening its digital media presence.
Mrs Bennett-Easy assumed the role of CEO of the PSOJ in 2018.
