Councillor for the Islington Division in St Mary, the People’s National Party’s Lincoln Dixon, was laid to rest on Saturday.
Speaking at Dixon’s funeral service, PNP President Mark Golding, hailed Mr Dixon as a man of principle.

The 65-year-old died suddenly at home on March 2 this year shortly after complaining about feeling unwell.
The two-term councillor was also the Chairman of the PNP’s region two.
Mayor of Port Maria, Councillor of the Richmond Division St Mary, Richard Creary also paid tribute to Mr Dixon.
