A man who has been missing since Thursday and held hostage was rescued by the security forces Saturday morning following targeted operations across multiple police divisions.
Marlon Jones was rescued following quick and decisive action after law enforcers received credible intelligence from multiple-sources including tips from the public.
A joint team led by the Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) in collaboration with the Joint Anti-Gang Task Force conducted the operations.
According to the police, multiple arrests have been made and more will follow.
The police further note that investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest all persons involved.
No efforts will be spared to ensure that evidence is presented to secure convictions for the gangsters responsible insisted the police.
Meanwhile, the security forces are encouraging persons to share information on gangs, gunmen and guns to benefit its relentless pursuit of criminals.
