Clinical Coordinator at the Western Regional Health Authority, WRHA, Dr Delroy Fray, says the main medical facilities in Western Jamaica have already started to reposition their resources towards non-covid 19 hospitalizations.

Speaking in the House of Representatives on this, Prime Minister Andrew Holness said resources for COVID-19 treatment will eventually be capped.

The Prime Minister made it clear that those still refusing to be vaccinated, can no longer be allowed to hold the remainder of the population at ransom.

Dr. Fray says hospitals have begun to make those adjustments.

The Clinical Coordinator says a survey conducted this morning, revealed a drastic reduction in hospitalizations.

Dr. Fray says its important for people not to become complacent.
