Trucking at the Kingston Freeport Terminal, KFTL, came to a stand still today after truck drivers withdrew with their services.

The effect of the industrial action taken by the truckers is that the movement of Cargo from the island’s largest port has been suspended.

General Manager of the Port Trailer Haulage Association, Ricardo Valentine, spoke to our news center this morning.

Mr. Valentine says the truck drivers are militant and expect to have dialogue with operators of the terminal today.
