State Minister for Tourism, Senator Delano Seiveright, says workers will be needed across various sectors as investments in the local tourism sector continue to expand.
Senator Seiveright says this bodes well for the country despite local unemployment numbers already being historically low.
He was speaking at a tourism career expo at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean on Wednesday.
Senator Seiveright described the projects as the biggest expansion of hotel rooms ever.
He listed some of the multi-million dollar expansion efforts from which local hotels are set to benefit in the near future.
