PNP President and Prime Minister, Portia Simpson Miller, has vowed that she will lead the party to victory at the next general election.

She made the declaration last night as she addressed hundreds of comrades at the annual conference of her South West St. Andrew constituency, at the Caribbean Palms Community Center.

The Prime Minister also responded to critics who say she’s been missing in action as the PNP grapples with several internal battles.

The PNP President says there’s no doubt that her party will win the next general election.

Mrs. Simpson-Miller began her address by detailing the work she has done in South West St. Andrew.

She told them that she wants to transform the area into a first class constituency.

The Prime Minister also took aim at her critics.

Responding to the Sunday Gleaner’s front page headline which said she was missing in action, Mrs. Simpson Miller scolded the writer, advising him to go see a doctor.
