Cabinet Minister, Olivia Grange, has revealed that even before signing off on the Sigma run on Sunday, she had recommended seven other sporting events for approval.
Minister Grange made the disclosure on today’s edition of Cliff Hughes Online with Miss Kitty.
The Sports Minister was rejecting suggestions among some members of the public that special treatment may have been given to the Sigma run.

Minister Grange says absolutely no special treatment was given by her Ministry to the Sigma run.
The Minister says prior to recommending approval for Sigma, her Ministry recommended approval to several low risk and non-contact Sporting activity, including Swimming and Track and Field.
Minister Grange says it must be noted that the events which were recommended for approval prior to Sigma, were recommended because they met the low risk criteria among other protocol requirements.
The Sports Minister says the process of resuming Sporting activities in a controlled manner is well underway.
Meanwhile, Minister Grange sought to outline the process by which sporting events are considered for approval, despite the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.
