Senior Director of Project Implementation at the National Works Agency, NWA, Varden Downer, says there’s no intention to disregard the needs of pedestrians as road works are being completed in the Corporate Area.

Several pedestrians have been complaining of not having sidewalks during the road works.

Mr Downer says while he won’t attempt to counter the claims, their work’s not easy.

He admits sometimes they don’t communicate enough with the public about their challenges.
