Prime Minister Holness says he is relatively pleased with the impact and progress of Project STAR in Central Kingston.
Project STAR is a social transformation programme led by the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, PSOJ, in partnership with the Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF.
On Friday, Prime Minister Holness and several key stakeholders toured areas within the constituency, which is often plagued by violence.
Prime Minister Holness says his government’s response to the threat of violence in Central Kingston has played an integral role in the transformation of several communities in the Police Division.
He further expressed concern about the role young men are playing in criminal activities.
