Prime Minister Andrew Holness, is admitting that successive administrations have failed to invest enough in the nation’s security infrastructure. 

He made the comment while addressing a forum with members of the private sector who’ve called for a national consensus on crime. 

The Prime Minister says the government has spent significant sums on education, and other sectors of the society. 

He says there is need for a budget that reflects the significant importance of national security. 

The Prime Minister also said he’s pleased to discuss the issue of crime with the interest groups.
