PNP Councillor Arrested

PNP Councillor for the Whitehouse Division in Westmoreland, Valdence Gifford has been arrested.

Head of the Westmoreland Police Division, Superintendent Gary Mckenzie says Councillor Gifford was arrested for not paying money owed.

Superintendent Mckenzie says Councillor Gifford was warranted to pay close to 3 million dollars to farmers he owed.

Superintendent Mckenzie says a number of pig farmers filed the suit.
