Nationwide understands that People’s National Party, PNP, Vice Presidents Richard Azan and Eugene Kelly will not be seeking re-election.
The two were elected unchallenged at the party’s last annual conference.
The other two incumbents are Ian Hayles and Mayor of Spanish Town Norman Scott.
Sources say both men are set to challenge for Vice Presidency again.
Meanwhile, attempts to reach the Vice Presidents for a comment were unsuccessful.
The Vice Presidential race now has five challengers.
In recent months Opposition Spokesman on Transport Mikael Phillips, Opposition Spokesman on Justice and Information Donna Scott Mottley and Caretaker for Central Clarendon Zuleika Jess have announced their candidacy.
At the weekend, former PNP President, Dr. Peter Phillips publicly endorsed his son Mikael Phillips and Mrs. Scott Mottley.
For his son, Dr. Phillips said it was his duty as a father to support his decisions.

Nationwide understands that the nomination period for the Presidential and Vice Presidential elections will open on Monday July 4 and is set to close on Friday July 8.
