Press Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, OPM, Naomi Francis says the Prime Minister will be announcing the other ministers in his Cabinet in very short order.
This after some stakeholders have called for the urgent appointment of an Education Minister.
JTA President Jasford Gabriel recently called on the Prime Minister to swiftly appoint an Education Minister to deal with the business of Education in the pandemic.
Following the September 3 General Elections, only 4 Ministers have been appointed and sworn in along with Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
The Ministers appointed so far will retain their posts in Health and Wellness, Finance and Planning, Foreign Affair and Trade and National Security.
Ms Francis says whether the Prime Minister names a new Education Minister or retains the previous Minister is within his purview.
