Shallow Rebuffs Team Manager’s Conflict of Interest Concerns

President of Cricket West Indies, Dr. Kishore Shallow, has come out in support of Dwayne Gill, being named team manager for the West Indies “A” tour of Bangladesh.

Gill is not only a Director of Cricket West Indies but President of the Windwards Board, President of the Grenada Cricket Board and CEO of the Windwards franchise.

There are many who believe that Gill’s appointment is a conflict of interest.

Dr. Shallow says as a director of Cricket West Indies, if the board is discussing anything regarding West Indies ‘A’ Gill would have to recuse himself.
