Jamaica’s sprint star, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce fired a warning shot as she equalled the world lead to win the women’s 100 metre at the Paris Wanda Diamond League meet today.

Fraser-Pryce’s 10.67 seconds also erased compatriot Elaine Thompson-Herah’s meeting record of 10.72 seconds that she set last year.

Fraser-Pryce finished ahead of Daryll Neita of Great Britain who ran a season’s best 10.99 seconds to take the silver and Marie-Josse Ta Lou of the Ivory Coast who finished third in a season’s best 11.01 seconds.
