Jamaican hurdler Megan Simmonds is excited to have compatriot Rasheed Broadbell join her at Hurdle U Track Club in Kentucky, where Coach Lonnie Greene has brought together an impressive collection of elite hurdlers.

Greene’s camp now boasts a formidable collection of international-class hurdlers, including reigning Olympic champion Masai Russell and multi-time World Indoor champion Devynne Charlton.

Broadbell, the 2022 Commonwealth Games champion, recently made the move to Greene’s training group as he continues his recovery from an Achilles injury.

Speaking on the Mr. Analyst podcast, Simmonds welcomed Broadbell’s arrival and said she believes the training environment will be a good fit for the 26-year-old Jamaican.

Simmonds, who won bronze in the women’s 100 metres hurdles at the 2020 Olympic Games, believes the environment at Hurdle U will provide Broadbell with the support and competition needed as he works his way back to his best.
