Top Jamaican Striker Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, is expected to be one of the shining stars at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, from June 7 to July 7.
Shaw has played internationally at the under 15, under 17, under 20 and senior levels for Jamaica since she was 14 years old. She made her debut with the senior women’s national team on August 23, 2015, versus the Dominican Republic.
The 22-year-old recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication.
The former St. Jago standout has so far represented the senior team on 22 occasions scoring 31-goals. Her last two goals came in a 3-2 loss to Scotland in an international friendly.
Shaw says it was predicted that she would be a great player from an early age.
