Two men have been charged in connection with the death last Wednesday of a 13-year old boy, Kemaro Myles, in Clarendon.

They’re 21-year-old Trevor Wright, otherwise called ‘Biggs’.

The police say he’s a truck driver of Sunset Drive in Knockpatrick, Manchester.

The other man charged is 28-year-old Oshane Thompson, otherwise called ‘Tammo’ of Asia, also in Manchester.

They’ve been jointly charged with manslaughter and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Thompson is facing an additional charge of misprison of a felon.

Head of the Clarendon Police Superintendent, David White, says police were initially told that the teen was pounced upon and shot by a gunman.

However, the police say their investigation unearthed inconsistencies in the report. He says, as a result, an operation was carried out in Milk River, Clarendon on Saturday.

Two guns and 11 rounds of ammunition were seized in that incident and Thompson was arrested.

Wright was subsequently arrested.

The police say after being interviewed and both men were charged.
