The Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF is this afternoon reporting a major dent in the dangerous guns for drugs trade.
This, follows two joint Police/Military operations over the past 48 hours.
The first operation resulted in 4 Hatians being arrested yesterday in the Naggo’s Head Area of the St. Catherine South Police Divison.
The Hatians remain in Police custody this afternoon.
And, following their arrest, the security forces today seized over one thousand pounds of compressed ganja in the Braeton area of the parish.
Communications Strategist in the JCF, Dennis Brooks, says Police intelligence indicates the Haitians are major players in the guns for drugs trade.
Mr. Brooks gave further details of the operation today which led to the drug seizure.
