Opposition MP Everald Warmington is again at the center of controversy after he unleashed a volley of expletives and man-handled a female camera woman from the Jamaica Gleaner newspaper.
The incident took place just after 10:00 this morning.
A number of Opposition MP’s arrived at the JLP’s Belmont Road headquarters and smiled as they were photographed by the camera woman from the Gleaner.
When she attempted to photograph Mr. Warmington the South West St. Catherine MP responded angrily.
Mr. Warmington approached the Gleaner employee and slammed his hand onto her camera.
Warmington’s actions caused the camera to hit the Gleaner employee in her face.
He insisted that his photograph not be taken.
Warmington used foul language as he attempted to chase other media personnel away from the compound.

And, Information Minister, Senator Sandrea Falconer, has criticized Mr. Warmington for his conduct.
Writing on Facebook, she says, “it’s time Mr Warmington realizes that his boorish behavior is getting old. Physical or verbal violence is unacceptable and even more so when it is directed towards a young female by an MP.”
Former President of the PSOJ, Chris Zacca tweeted, “Sigh….I am so tired of unpunished crass antisocial behavior by some of our leaders, isn’t that an assault?”
