A 17-year-old boy is scheduled to appear before the court to answer to the charges of Robbery with Aggravation, Illegal Possession of Firearm and Assault at Common Law following an incident on Foster Road, Whitfield Town, Kingston 13 on Monday, September 5.
Reports from the Hunts Bay Police are that about 2:30 p.m., the accused along with another man
armed with firearms entered the complainant’s house and robbed her.
A report was made to the police and an investigation launched.
The boy was charged after he was positively pointed out on an identification parade.
and a 16-year-old boy and thirty-six-year-old Edeans Fitzgerald, otherwise called ‘Deno’, a construction worker of Manor View Drive, Kingston 8 were charged following an incident on Grosvenor Terrace, Kingston 8 on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
Reports from the Constant Spring Police are that about 1:40 p.m., the complainant was in the process of making a delivery when both accused- one armed with a handgun, held him up and robbed him of a pair of Air Force sneakers, a pair of Gucci Slipper among other items before fleeing the scene.
They were subsequently apprehended in the Manor View Drive area.
Both accused were charged with Robbery with Aggravation and Illegal Possession of Firearm after they were
positively pointed out on identification parade.
Meanwhile Twenty-two-year-old Danely Myrie of Warf Road, Smithfield in Westmoreland was charged with Wounding with Intent and Illegal Possession of Firearm following an incident in his community on Monday, March 14, 2022.
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are about 8:40 a.m., the complainant was at a shop in the community when he was confronted by Myrie and two other men armed with a machete, stones and a firearm.
The complainant was subsequently shot and was transported to hospital where he was treated and released.
An investigation was launched and the accused was taken into custody on Monday, September 12,
where he was charged.
A court date for all of the men is being finalized.
