Two women were shot and killed by unknown assailants in Kingston on Monday.

The incident reportedly happened sometime after 5am at the National Solid Waste Management Authority, NSWMA, facility on Spanish Town Road.

Detectives from the Hunts Bay Police Station are currently on the scene combing for material evidence.

The NWSMA says due to the shooting, its operations at the facility are temporarily delayed.
