President of the Caribbean Development Bank, CDB, Dr. Warren Smith, is urging Caribbean states to ramp up exports.
He stresses that this will make countries in the region more resilient to economic shocks.
Dr. Smith says the public and private sectors must both play a role in diversifying the economy.
Meanwhile, the outgoing CDB President says Caribbean countries have not exploited the true potential of regional integration.
