Nationwide News understands that there was an incident on Tuesday at the Halfway Tree Lockup involving murder accused 23-year old Rushane Barnett.

Allegation are Barnett was in his cell when a female officer on duty, saw a bulge in his waistband.

It is alleged he was taken from the cell and while being searched, a cell phone was found in his possession.

According to the allegations, Barnett became frantic and grabbed the female officer by her clothes.

Other police allegedly intervened and freed the female officer from his grasp.

The allegations are Barnett then picked up a bucket of water from his cell and threw it at the female officer.

The situation was contained and Barnett was taken back to his cell.

Barnett pleaded guilty in the Home Circuit Court in July to killing Kimesha Wright and her four children in Cocoa Piece Clarendon in June.

Our news team was informed that no additional charges were laid against him.

He is slated to appear in the Home Circuit Court again on September 22 for sentencing.
