The Police Constable implicated in the murder of Corporal Judith Williams is to face an Identification Parade this week.
It’s understood that the Constable was served with an ID parade notice today. He’s not yet been charged in relation to the murder investigation.
However senior law enforcement sources have told our news center the Constable is likely to be charged in connection with the killing of Corporal Williams.
Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime Glenmore Hinds says the Constable remains in custody in relation to the murder of Corporal Williams.
On April 28, Corporal Judith Williams was shot six times in Franklyn Town area while on her way home.
The 54 year old Policewoman died a day later from injuries sustained.
The Constable who has been implicated in her murder is to also appear in the Corporate Area Criminal Court on Wednesday of this week to answer to an assault charge.
That incident is in relation to an altercation with his girlfriend last year.
The Policeman is being represented by Attorney, Peter Champagnie.
