Jamaica has confirmed o162 new cases of COVID-19 and two more related deaths on the island as of Sunday September 13
The Ministry of Health in a statement says this brings the total number of cases up to 3,933.
Total deaths now stand at 44.
None of the new cases are considered imported with only one registered as a contact of a confirmed case.
The remainder of cases are under investigation.
Of new cases, 70 are male and 91 female.
The majority of new cases were registered in the parish of St. Catherine ay 74
This is followed by Kingston and St. Andrew with 51 new cases and Manchester with 11.
An additional 12 people have recovered from the disease with 2658 cases remaining active across the island.
Twenty-eight of these cases are considered moderately ill, with 7 patients in critical condition.
