Director-General of the World Health Organization, WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has condemned as “racist”, suggestions by two French doctors that the COVID-19 vaccines could be tested in Africa.

Dr Tedros spoke openly and frankly on the matter today.

The WHO boss says they’ll follow all the rules to test vaccines. 

He described the discourse of the two scientists as disgraceful. 

The Ethiopian Politician and Academic has been Director General to the WHO since 2017.

The doctors’ remarks during a TV debate sparked outrage among many including former footballers Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto’o.  

They’ve also been accused of treating Africans like “human guinea pigs”.

One of the doctors later issued an apology.
