Former Prime Minister, PJ Patterson, is calling on members of the People’s National Party, PNP, to respect the leadership of their president, Mark Golding.
Mr. Patterson was speaking at the PNP’s National Executive Council meeting at the University of the West Indies on the weekend.
Mr. Patterson says publicly aired disagreements between PNP members are a disgrace to watch.
The former Prime Minister added that unity within the party is being observed through the race for Vice Presidency.
Mr. Patterson says Golding brought tremendous energy to the PNP’s leadership office.
He’s urging the members to show support for their leader.
