The prosecution in the Klansman Gang Trial has indicated to the court that after assessment of the evidence there’s not sufficient material to proceed against four accused.

They are Damaine Elliston, Rushane Williams, Owen Ormsby, Rivaldo Hylton.

Presiding judge, Chief Justice Bryan Sykes, returned a not guilty verdict, meaning the four alleged gangsters were freed. Twenty-nine others remain on trial.

Andre ‘Blackman’ Bryan along with 32 of his alleged cronies were placed before the courts on allegations of being a part of a criminal organisation.

In addition, the four accused were facing charges of conspiracy to murder, arson and murder.

Following the ruling by Chief Justice Sykes the police led the four men from the court.

Defence attorneys are expected to make no case submissions for the remaining accused.
