Four people have been killed in a shooting spree at a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Police confirmed that the suspected shooter, who was armed with a rifle and a handgun, was also dead.
The shooting took place at St Francis Hospital and police arrived on the scene within three minutes of the incident – which they say ensured the death toll wasn’t higher.
Multiple injuries had also been confirmed.
The shooter, who has not yet been identified, sustained fatal gunshot wounds which were believed to have been self-inflicted.
No information was available about a possible motivation for the attack.
This is the third mass shooting the United States in the past month, the most recent prior to yesterday’s was in Uvalde Texas where 19 children and two teachers were killed at an elementary school and two weeks before that 10 people lost their lives in a mass shooting at a grocery store in Bufalo New York.
