Prime Minister Andrew Holness is urging unattached youth to make use of what he says is the tremendous opportunities available for employment.

He was addressing the Unveiling of AMBER HEART Institute of Coding in Kingston lastnight .

The Prime Minister says there are many pending projects that the government is seeking labour to fill.

He says institutions like the HEART/NSTA have been investing in talent building.

Mr Holness is describing as nonsense, claims that persons are denied employment opportunities because of their address.

The Amber Group graduated its first cohort of the Coding program, a group of students who’ve also created several applications aimed at solving some of the country’s most challenging problems.

Some five hundred students are to enrol in the program this year.
