Opposition Leader, Mark Golding, says the government’s implementation of the compensation review exercise resulted in those at the top of the salary scales receiving the most significant increases.

He made the claim while addressing comrades at the PNP’s National Executive Council, NEC, meeting at the St. Mary High School in Highgate in the parish on Sunday,

Mr. Golding says the exercise lacked equity.

Mr. Golding says those at the lowest end of the salary scale feel they have not been treated fairly.

The Opposition Leader says it’s insensitive for the Holness administration to award politicians such a huge salary increase compared to what public sector workers received under the compensation review.
