Govt Explores Used Fire Trucks

Minister of Local Government, Desmond McKenzie says he will be pursuing the possibility of providing used fire trucks to the Jamaica Fire Brigade.

He made the announcement on a suggestion by Finance Minister Audley Shaw at yesterday’s sitting of Parliament’s Standing Finance Committee.

However, former State Minister for Local Government Colin Fagan, is warning the government to tread carefully.
