Director of Family Health Services, Dr. Melody Ennis, says the Health Ministry is looking to target over 10 thousand people during the next vaccination blitz set to take place this weekend.
She was speaking Wednesday morning on Let’s Talk Vax with Cliff Hughes.
Dr. Ennis says the majority of the people receiving jabs will be from Western Jamaica as they’re due for the second dose this week.
The Family Health Services Director noted that the next blitz is set to occur across the island at around 15 centres.
And Dr. Ennis says the next batch of vaccines will be the Johnson and Johnson, set to arrive in August.
