The Police High Command is expressing outrage at the killing of another police officer yesterday on Maxfield Avenue in Kingston.

Dead is 31-year-old Corporal Kemoi Miller of the Kingston East Police Division.

Head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate Communications Unit, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says Corporal Miller was killed around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Superintendent Lindsay says the injured Corporal attempted to drive away to get help but crashed.

Meanwhile, the Police High Command is reminding all members of the JCF that the threat level against police remains at an ‘extreme’ level.

It’s urging its members to be alert at all times.
