Information Minister Senator Sandrea Falconer has ordered a management audit into the operations at the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica, PBCJ.

On Friday placard bearing workers protested outside the Parliament building on Duke Street in downtown Kingston, demanding that their concerns be addressed.

The workers are represented by the Bustamante Industrial Trade Union, BITU.

Workers have been restive in recent months amid claims of poor working conditions and the abuse of staff, by management at the government run entity.

PBCJ provides television coverage of all proceedings at Gordon House and national activities and events, including Commissions of Enquiry.

Communications Officer at the BITU, Colin Virgo says the audit will confirm what the workers have been complaining about for months.
