The Jamaica Tallawahs remain on course for a third Caribbean Premier League T20 title after carving out an impressive 37 run win over the Guyana Amazon Warriors at Providence lastnight to book their spot in the final.

Shamar Brooks was the starman for the Tallawahs, he blazed a maiden T20  century, 109 from 52 balls as his team logged a stunning 226/4 off their 20 overs.

Imad Wasim supported with 41 not out captain Rovman Powell 37….Romario Shepherd grabbed 2 for 43 bowling for the Warriors.

The home team in reply could only manage 189/8.

Keemo Paul hit a half century 56, Shai (Shay) Hope 31 and Odean Smith 24 against two wicket performances from Chris Green 2 for  40 and Wasim  2 for 25.

Winning captain Rovman Powell is already thinking about Friday’s big final against the Barbados Royals at the same venue.
