Three Jamaica Urban Transit Company, JUTC, buses were damaged last night in the latest in what the state-owned company says is a series of stone throwing incidents since the start of the year.

The attacks happened in Seven Miles, Bull Bay, St. Andrew and Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

The JUTC’s Corporate Communications Manager is Cecil Thoms.

He’s appealing to persons to stop damaging the buses.

Mr. Thoms says the matter has been reported to the police. He says since the start of the year, more than 60 buses have been damaged due to stone throwing. Last year, 78 buses were damaged.
