A long-awaited audit of the Jamaica Public Service, JPS, is yet to be submitted to the Ministry of Energy.

That’s according to Energy Minister Fayval Williams speaking with Nationwide News.

The audit was requested by the  Energy Minister after numerous complaints by JPS customers about unusually high electricity bills.

The audit report was expected by now.

The Minister says she expects the audit to be available in short order but was unable to give a specific date.
