The ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup schoolboy football competition continues today with seven more games.
Bridgeport High will welcome Tivoli Gardens High, Haile Selassie will face Edith Dalton James, Vauxhall and Charlie Smith will lock horns, Campion will battle Excelsior, Jose Marti will entertain Clan Carthy, and Kingston Technical will clash with Cumberland.
In yesterday’s action, St. Andrew Technical spanked Tarrant 6-nil, it was the same scoreline for St. Catherine over Cedar Grove. Holy Trinity whipped St. Mary’s College 5-1, Jamaica College blanked St. Jago 4-nil, the impressive Mona got the better of Wolmers 3-1. Dunoon, Kingston High and Johnathan Grant, had similar 2-1 wins over Spanish Town, Papine and Norman Manley respectively. While Camperdown and Hydel played out an exciting 1-all draw.
Meanwhile, over in the ISSA/WATA Dacosta Cup, there will be four more games played today. The feature match will see last season’s Ben Francis Cup winners, Edwin Allen clash with last season’s champions Cup winners, Clarendon College.
In other games, Kellits will go up against Thompson Town, Denbigh will tackle Old Harbour and Titchfield will do battle with Fair Prospect.
In yesterdays action, Dinthill and Paul Bogle were the big winners. Paul Bogle clobbered Robert Lightbourne by 12 goals to nil, while Dinthill flogged Ewarton by 10 goals to nil.
